Philanthropy Cloud turns employees into citizen philanthropists by empowering them to give back and to make change.
With Philanthropy Cloud, you can support causes by donating time, money, or both, and you can easily measure your impact. Philanthropy Cloud helps you to discover opportunities that are personally meaningful and it connects you with your colleagues on current initiatives.
Install the Mobile App
Download the Philanthropy Cloud app to your iPhone or Android phone and put the power of giving in your pocket.
With Philanthropy Cloud’s mobile app, you can donate funds whenever and wherever you feel inspired. Sign up for volunteer opportunities and log volunteer time — all from your mobile device.
To install the Philanthropy Cloud app:
On your iPhone:
- Go to the App Store to search for the Philanthropy Cloud app (Philanthropy). The app is available on iOS version 13.0 or later.
On your Android phone:
- Go to the Play Store to search for the Philanthropy Cloud app (Philanthropy). The app is available on Android version 7.0 or later.
Download and install the app.
Log into the app using your Philanthropy Cloud username and password, or the credentials provided by your administrator. The app opens on your company page.
You can also download the Philanthropy Cloud app from the App Store using the link in the footer.
Take the Philanthropy Cloud Trail
The Philanthropy Cloud Trail is an engaging and fun way to learn about Philanthropy Cloud.
Trailhead is Salesforce's online learning platform. Trails are guided learning paths that chart your course through Salesforce skills and products. Modules introduce you to specific topics that are broken up into bite-sized units. Trailhead is a fun and easy way to learn Salesforce, and we invite you to dive right in!
Get to Know Philanthropy Cloud
The Philanthropy Cloud Home page enables you to discover new philanthropic opportunities and keep track of the impact you and your organization make.
View campaigns, volunteer opportunities, and stories featured by your organization, as well as recommended content that is based on your customized profile. Messages, videos, and information from your organization may also display. You can also see, at a glance, your continued impact and log volunteer time.
Note: Based on your organization's preferences or your user role, some Philanthropy Cloud features may not be available.
Toolbar
Use the Toolbar to help you navigate to important areas of Philanthropy Cloud, such as your Profile , Help , or back to the Home page . Additionally, the toolbar is where you log out of the application .
Search for campaigns, volunteer opportunities, and organizations that interest you.
Champions can also create and manage content for their community in Content Management .
Impact Dashboard
The Impact Dashboard helps you keep track of your continuing impact by displaying the giving and volunteering totals for you and your organization. Each heart displays the details by cause and percentage.
Volunteering totals are calculated as the sum of all past time logged plus the sum of future time pledged, with the exception of future flexible opportunities. Company volunteering totals include the sum of all employees of that workplace.
Home Page Content
Your organization can promote a variety of content that you may be interested in learning more about. You’ll see opportunities and organizations that you can donate to or volunteer for. Some of this content is chosen by your organization and some appears because it matches your skills and causes. You’ll also see news items, blog posts, or articles about the positive impact others are making on the world.
Select an item to read more about it, donate to it, or volunteer for it.

Support - If you need Philanthropy Cloud support, depending on your organization or role, as well as the support you need, you can contact your administrator or contact support. Support access can be enabled as required. Support access automatically expires after one week and can be revoked at any time. Note: If you are an admin and your workplace purchased Philanthropy Cloud from Salesforce, a CRM account and login is required to create and manage cases in Trailblazer.
