Donations
You can support the causes that are important to you by donating to campaigns, nonprofits, and impact funds.
Donation opportunities are as unique as their donors. Because campaigns are fully customizable, their individual look and feel may vary. While their tailored options and wording may differ based on how they were created, your impact is the same.
In some cases, you can donate and volunteer as part of the same campaign. For these joint giving and volunteering campaigns, the campaign name and information is displayed on both the campaign page and on the volunteering opportunity page for easy reference.
You can donate using the available payment methods, such as credit card, payroll, bonus payroll, check, cash or stock options. Based on the campaign customizations, you may be able to donate to specific nonprofits or impact funds or to any of them. For example, a campaign may offer several impact funds that you can give to, and you may also be able to allocate amounts among them. There may also be a confirmation page where you can verify or change your selections, including the amount, distribution, recipients, and payment method before your donation is made.
You can customize your profile to personalize your Philanthropy Cloud experience. Personalized recommendations display on your Featured content based on the skills and causes you select in your profile page, as well as based on your location and engagement history.

Credit Card
To donate with a card:
Tap an item of interest. A page appears displaying information about the item. Tap Donate. You are redirected to a web-based payments service.
Use the credit card that is shown or tap Change. You can select another credit card or tap Add Card to add a new card. Cards supported include most major brands, such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Select Give Monthly or Give Once.
Decide how much you would like to donate and choose an amount or enter an amount in Other Amount.
Tap Add Note to add a note about the donation (optional).
Select Donate.
Select Done. You are taken back to the original item of interest.
You will receive an email confirmation with a tax receipt. Check your spam folder if you do not receive an email in a few minutes.
Add Card
You can donate with a new credit or debit card as you make a donation. You can manage up to five cards that you donate with in your profile. Cards supported include most major brands, such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Note: When you already have five cards saved in your profile, you cannot add another one without first removing an existing one.
To add a credit card or debit card:
Select Add Card.
Enter the Name on Card.
Enter the Card Details, including the Card Number, the expiration Month (MM) and Year (YY), the CVC number, and the Zip Code (ZIP).
Enter a Home Address (optional).
Note: Your existing home address is updated by any address information that is saved when you add a new card. Tax receipts display your home address when it is available. Otherwise, your work address is displayed.
Select Remember Card to save this card for future donations.
Note: This card is automatically saved if you make a monthly donation with it.
Select Use as Default to use this card as your default payment method.
Note: If you do not have any existing cards saved, the first card you use is saved as your default card. Each time you add a new card or edit and existing one, you can choose whether to make it your default card.
Select Add Card.
Payroll
You can support the causes that are important to you by donating to campaigns, nonprofits, and impact funds. Once you find a cause that interests you, you can donate to it using the available payment methods.
Payroll options may vary based on the settings configured by your organization or workplace. Options are available for one-time and recurring (annual and perennial) donations and specific enablement periods may be enabled. The configuration set by your organization determines the options displayed and selections may vary.
To donate with a payroll deduction:
Tap an item of interest. A page appears displaying information about the item. Tap Donate.
Select Change and then select Payroll.
Select Give Every Pay Period or Give Once.
Decide how much you would like to donate and select an amount or enter an amount in Other Amount. For recurring donations, you can specify a dollar amount or a percentage of your salary.
Tap Add Note to add a note about the donation (optional).
Select Give amount Per Pay Period or Give amount Via Payroll.
Tap Done. You are taken back to the original item of interest.
You will receive an email confirmation. Your employer will enter your payroll deduction into their system. Your pledge will be deducted either once or recurring from your payroll based on your selection above. Please contact your employer for more detailed information on processing and protocol.
Bonus Payroll
You can support the causes that are important to you by donating to campaigns, nonprofits, and impact funds. Once you find a cause that interests you, you can donate to it using the available payment methods.
If enabled for your organization, you can select a one-time payroll gift to be drawn from one or several bonus payrolls. Bonus Payroll options may vary based on the settings configured by your organization or workplace.

To donate with a bonus payroll deduction:
Tap an item of interest. A page appears displaying information about the item. Tap Donate.
Select Change and then select Bonus Payroll. This is a one-time donation deducted from each selected bonus payroll.
Select which bonus payrolls you would like to donate from.
Enter the amount you would like to donate from either one or several bonus payroll options.
To add or delete a note to a single nonprofit donation, select either Add Note or Delete Note as appropriate. These notes display in your donation history.
Tap Donate amount if you only selected one bonus payroll or Donate amount Per Bonus Payroll if you selected several. Allocations are donated to your selected recipients from each bonus payroll.
For a campaign, a summary is displayed of your donation including the total amount per a single bonus payroll or the total amount for all selected bonus payrolls. You can review the recipients and allocations, and make any necessary changes. You can also add a note to the allocation by tapping Add Note.
Tap Next: Confirm.
Tap Done. You are taken back to the original item of interest.
You will receive an email confirmation. Your employer will enter your payroll bonus deduction into their system. Please contact your employer for more detailed information on processing and protocol.
Check
To donate with a check pledge:
Tap an item of interest. A page appears displaying information about the item. Tap Donate.
Select Change and then select Check.
Tap Donate Once.
Decide how much you would like to donate and choose an amount or enter an amount in Other Amount.
Select Donate amount.
Tap Done. You are taken back to the original item of interest.
A confirmation is sent to your work email address.
Important: Processors, such as Frontstream or the United Way, receive all non-credit card donations and issue tax receipts for them. They will email you instructions to your work email address on how to send your payment and fulfill your pledged donation.
Stock
You can support the causes that are important to you by donating to campaigns, nonprofits, and impact funds. Once you find a cause that interests you, you can donate to it using the available payment methods.
To donate with stock:
Tap an item of interest. A page appears displaying information about the item. Tap Donate.
Select Change and then select Stock.
Enter the Estimated Total Value, Number of Shares, Stock Symbol, Brokerage Firm, Broker Name, Broker Email, and Broker Phone Number.
Select Donate Now.
Tap Done. You are taken back to the original item of interest.
A confirmation is sent to your work email address.

Cash
To donate with cash:
Tap an item of interest. A page appears displaying information about the item. Tap Donate.
Select Change and then select Cash.
Tap Donate Once.
Decide how much you would like to donate and choose an amount or enter an amount in Other Amount.
Select Donate amount.
Tap Done. You are taken back to the original item of interest.
